Mine is most definetly Metallica - St.Anger, the biggest peice of shit that was ever shat.

I am truely embarassed everytime someone finds out I own this album.

If I had a collection of Backstreet boys albums, St.Anger would still be worse

I actually have 5 of them sitting downstairs in my room right now... LOL I don't LISTEN to them tho. ( no turntable, actual vinyl LOL )

thought i'd better clarify, 5 albums, not 5 of the Bay City Rollers....

no, their new stuff hasnt made it to radio, at least here in the states. you should check out their newest album Diorama, it's amazing. almost the whole album is accompanied by an orchestra.
phousse Posted - 01/31/2005 : 7:11:27 PM

i had frogstomp. i really only listened to the cd once because they overplayed them on the radio. did their new stuff make it on the radio?

the smiths fucking suck.

i get people suggesting bands to me a lot, too. mostly from people who like genres, not music. if i had a dime for every shitty metalcore band and dave matthews rip off band cd someone burned for me, i could spend all day whipping them at old people in the food court.

I totally loved those guys! I'm not sure I have an album though; if I do, it's in a box somewhere.

My most embarrassing album that I *know* I owned at some point was John Travolta. I think it was called "Let Her In."

Haha, I can't even hear that name without thinking of Mike Myers in So I Married An Axe Murderer..

Well, sometimes the imports have an extra live track or a B-side. That's why I've hunted down certain imports, just to get the one extra track.

Wasn't aware Morrissey was in The Smiths. What was I thinking?

And such a cool cover.

I owned a couple Creed albums at one time too. A friend was going on and on about them and finally burned me a copy of two of their albums. I listened to each once, and they then got filed away with a ton of other CDrs with no label...with content that deserves no label.

I hate when people are into a band, that they think you'll just love, or that everyone should love, so they take it upon themselves to burn copies of it for you and everyone else they meet. If the music was that great, I would not need this loser burning me copies of it, I would already own it.

See I got rid of all my lame albums about a year ago. Now I don't have any. I did have some really bad rock albums like a p.o.d. album and I'm ashamed to say a papa roach CD.
Arthen Posted - 01/29/2005 : 7:16:04 PM
I would never buy an album of his. I always knew he sucked.
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 01/29/2005 : 6:59:19 PM
Where are all the Mayer haters? I figured it wouldn't take more than two responses to get his name mentioned. :)

Trust me, Mraz is ass.
TalkingNeurons Posted - 01/28/2005 : 11:51:13 AM
Jason Mraz opened for a DMB concert I went to awhile back. I didn't think he was all that bad, it wasn't the greatest thing I've heard, but it wasn't the worst.

Then I started seeing him on tv. I'm not sure what happened, but his sound was completely different and horribly bad.

Or maybe I just wasn't paying much attention to his music because I wanted to see DMB play.

But anyways, my most embarassing album that I own would have to be Godsmack's Awake. It was the first CD I ever bought and looking at my taste in music now, I can see that a lot's changed.

sadness Arthen; I once owned a Kajagoogoo album...beat that!
Arthen Posted - 01/27/2005 : 8:50:40 PM
I'll put the future DMB album on this list right now.
pcbTIM Posted - 01/27/2005 : 7:08:09 PM
I had a Blink 182 album. God. I think I listened to it once. Terrible, terrible music.
dan p. Posted - 01/27/2005 : 5:50:38 PM
god. a couple.

children of bodom's "follow the reaper" and from autumn to ashes "the fiction we live" artless speed metal and generic emo slop, repsectively.

Horrible. Got it cause I saw a preview in Acoustic Guitar World saying he didn't suck. He does. I've since thrown it away, but I did own it.

He does suck. I used that CD as a coaster for a while.
Arthen Posted - 01/27/2005 : 3:48:57 PM
Hopeful! Me too! I saw a poster for him at my school, he was coming to play. I bought it and was horrified. I smashed the cd and case apart.

the boys, dee lite, technotronic, 3 dj jassy jeff and the fresh prince, heavy d and the boyz, silverchair-listened to once, bush-listened to once, tears for fears, and the worst of them all..which was my very first cd purchase..suicide blonde by INXS..
all that is out of my system. i dont know why but all those hair and make-up bands really scared my away from guitar rock so when i first got into buying music i didnt know what to get. i didnt really get into guitar music until the seattle grunge movement.

I bought it when it first came out, and it came with a DVD of them playing the whole album live in their garage... and I think it sounds 1000000000000 times better than the actual cd.

As for my most embarassing album I own... I'd say probably some old Korn cds I still have from when I was in high school and liked them.

No doubt about that. They are actually using their "road" gear in the DVD. I don't know what Bob Rock does to them in the studio, but I really do not like it.

I watch the DVD all the time, and hardly ever listen to the CD. I wish I could get the audio from the DVD on to a CD.

My CD also came with a card with a website and code thing on it where you can go download Metallica shows. There were 3 shows on there that were all really great. The only thing was the audience was not miked, so you hear James yell at the audience, and you hear nothing in return. Very strange.....reminds me of one of my shows

Wow. I liked that album. Not as good as their older stuff, granted, but I still gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
