Posted - 01/23/2005 : 3:32:55 PM This past Thursday we had a benefit in cooperation with the Red Cross to support the Tsunami victims at my Virgin location. Each Virgin nationwide has acts in-store that night as it was called "100 acts of support". We had mostly a bunch of Indie rock bands I've never really heard of, like "The Adored" and "Blood Arm" but the one cool act we did have was Gary Hoey. I have to admit, he's not only a pretty good guitarist, but also A very cool dude. I met him before hand, and he was extremely gracious, and was happy to help. He did a solo electric set with a backing track, and rocked the house. |
