In her study, the door is open, but you need to answer some riddles and blah blah heres the transcript:
quote: I know you all expected this to happen on Christmas day, but I was sure that those of you who celebrate Christmas have better things to on the day itself do than to fight your way into my study, whereas those of you who DON'T celebrate Christmas would definitely prefer not to wait until the twenty fifth so...
'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' is COMPLETED and has been delivered to my English language publishers, who hope to announce the publication date within 24 hours.
Although I have joked about HP&THBP racing my third baby into the world, I have in fact had all the time I needed to tinker with the manuscript to my satisfaction and I am as happy as I have ever been with the end result. I only hope you feel that it was worth the wait when you finally read it!
Wishing everybody a wonderful holiday and a happy and peaceful 2005, With love from, JK Rowling.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Emma is looking pretty good for the upcoming HP4 movie:
... despite the enlarged forhead. and silly expression.

Posted - 12/25/2004 : 11:18:34 PM Well......this was supposed to take place when the movies came out.....so it was the end of the movie to them. And I think there was a 2 year gap between each movie. Homer was just referring to the end of The Empire Stikes Back. |

Posted - 12/25/2004 : 2:03:03 PM what bothered me when homer said it is that darth vader tells luke that he's his father in episode v, and it's not really the end. |

Posted - 12/24/2004 : 8:35:51 PM That's why I'm glad you are back around PCBTim, well one of the reasons. You are a trove of Simpsons' quotes. We've been missing that on the board. |

Posted - 12/23/2004 : 4:23:57 PM Thanks SandyCarl! I got the two answers I needed and got the whole tree to light up. I am annoyed with myself for not getting the prince riddle, but I can live with not knowing that Ron dislikes corned beef! |

Each present has a riddle that when answered lights a candle on the tree. I got all but two and I can't figure them out to save my life...
Warning to you terice: these links contain spoilers, but the answer to your riddles.

Posted - 12/22/2004 : 3:23:07 PM Hey SandyCarl, do you have Macromedia Flash Player 7? If not, you prolly only get the "text" version of the website. I have the same problem, no graphics. Although everyTIMe I click on the link I get a prompt to download MFP7. That is prolly the problem, but keep in mind, I am no computer guy. LOL |

I can't get the whole tree to light; I'm missing two answers... How stupid am I? And why do I care?
You're doing better than me since I don't even know what the heck you're talking about. Some sort of game to play on the site? I'm to stoopid to get to even that. |

Posted - 12/22/2004 : 05:28:47 AM I agree that the movies aren't that great. I've read all the books and I think they are much better, or maybe the images I project are just better than the movies. For some reason, the books seem much more mature and adult than the movies. I don't know if this is simply because I'm putting my view in these books or if they director was just trying to make the movie appeal more to children. But to each his own. |

Posted - 12/21/2004 : 12:11:15 PM I tried to sit through harry potter 2 but i found the storyline kind of ridiculous and childish. Also way too long.
However that goblin jumping on the bed at tthe beginning had me in stitches on the ground |

Posted - 12/21/2004 : 10:51:00 AM While I won't be quite as crass as Dan, as I've never read the books or seen the movies, I have to admit...the web design is pretty interesting. It's nice to see a site that has a unique feel to it. Off to mimic it and ruin its uniqueness! |
