first off, sorry if i often miss spaces, my space bar is tending to not register every now and then but i'll try to fix it when i notice it.

I've been using www.easytree.org for a while now downloading all sorts of live music, and thought i'd spread the wealth to the people on the boards. they have a huge variety of artists, including alot of classics like CSNY, pink floyd, led zeppelin, whoever, you name it. They're lacking in TR, though, sadly. The pro's of this are you can find heaps upon heaps of rare music and material taht you probablywont find anywhere else. The downside, or at least the onlyone i can think of, is that the files you download are large (usually ranging from 100-1000 MB for audio and 1000-4000 MB for vcd/svcd/dvd) and occassionally you can get slow download speeds and have to wait days before a show finishes.

The site works by having tons of users post torrents on a message board-type list. Here they give names of the files, the contents, quality, origin, etc., and people can leave comments. If you don't know what a torrent is, it's a bit-torrent file that is opened to set up a download from other users who also have the same file being downloaded, or are offerring it for upload. You'll need bit-torrent to use the site, so I suggest www.bittornado.com

Hope this sparks some interest in some people, as I love to collect live music, and thought other people might appreciate it also.

Happy Downloading

inactive accounts are deleted automatically, so new accounts are freed up everyday. I had the same message first time i tried to register, the next day i got an account. just check the site every now and then and trust me, you'll get in. and YES, it really is amazing what you can find there.

We are very sorry!

At the moment, there are at least 100,000 registered users at www.easytree.org, the maximum allowed under EZT's current configuration.

Hmm... no more users? Well I wonder what that is all about. I've been a member for a while now and it's one of the best place to get live shows around since the demolition of STG. So keep an eye out for a time when you can sign up. It's unbelievable the kind of shows you get on there. There is almost a daily dose of good miles alond with some really rare stuff. I check it daily though.
