I'm normally not a fan of network reality tv. But I caught this show the other day and saw one of the funniest things I've seen.

The show is setup like the Apprentice, but the billionaire is just an actor. There's a dozen or so ivy-leaguers who think they are competing for a dream job.

Anyway, they go on a tour of the guy's house. They rented an eighteen million dollar brownstone in Chicago. The "boss" and his actor wife and actor daughter were just making up stuff as they went along. This vase belonged to Napolean, etc. But when they get up to his room he has an old sword mounted in a glass box.

He turns their direction to it and says, "This, my friends, is Excalibur."

I almost fell off the bed I was laughing so hard. They all bought it and at least three of them made reference, during the course of the show, to the legend that only someone "True of heart" can possess it, so he must be an alright guy.

TV gold.

Yeah, I saw that too. The Excalibur thing is over the top. I hope the "secret boss" is a monkey.

My roomates are infatuated with reality TV right now, its killing me on the inside and I'm losing respect for them by the second.
