Posted - 10/29/2004 : 08:26:56 AM I actually went to the planetarium for this one to see it through the huge telescopes... completely breath taking... the moon, and the RED Sox winning the World Series |

Posted - 10/29/2004 : 08:24:50 AM http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap041029.html good pic of the redness it looked wild thru my telescope. So different than all the other million times I've looked at it thru the scope. Not just because of the color but it seemed to exhibit more dimension and contrast. astronomy rocks! |

Posted - 10/27/2004 : 5:24:03 PM the moon; a sign of hope. it appeared when we left the pain of the ice desert. condemned we are. we brought hope, but also lies and treachery.
we were talking about the eclipse in astronomy yesterday. i didn't know that they could predict the color. i thought that depended on whatever's in the atmosphere at the time. |
