Posted - 10/25/2004 : 7:29:29 PM If I get a router and connect 2 or more computers to the internet... are routers wireless or can I get a router that I can plug the other PCs into without being wireless? I have heard wireless is not safe.
Also... getting a hub and purchasing additional IP adresses from the cable company? I heard this was not safe due to hackers. Whats the scoop?

if you have a wireless router you should put a password on it. Otherwise other people can just bogart your internet.
