Posted - 10/12/2004 : 10:46:16 PM Not sure if anyone cares, but I got the December issue of PC Gamer and here's the Final Verdict for Half-Life 2:
Overall: 98%
Highs: Everything: graphics, plot, gameplay. It's what experts have been predicting for this medium.
Lows: Squadmates sometimes get in your way; low-res textures in huge outdoor scenes.
Bottom Line: Surpasses Half-LIfe in every way. Arguably the best game ever made.

I can't wait to try #2
You end up on a train with the G-Man and he gives you a choice to either join him or (basically) die. You have the option to choose but if you deny him, you'll end up facing an army of aliens (you don't get the chance to fight them though, it just sort of fades out with you facing a shit load of those big alien guys). |
