So I spent the better part of yesterday and today in court as a defendant in a civil lawsuit in which I was being sued for $75,000. Not that I have to pay it so I'm not worried about that since insurance covers it. The whole experience just pissed me off though. I missed school, the opposing attorney was an ass that had an annoying nervous twitch where he blinked way too much and with way too much movement of the face, and on top of that I have my credibility called into question because of something completely unrelated to the accident even though I have admitted fault. So this lady suing me has a mild back sprain and completes physical therapy and is approved for lifting by her physician and then doesn't do anything for 13 months and doesn't see anyone and then complains of back trouble and now she evidently needs $75,000 on top of the medical bills. So I left today before the jury reached a verdict but I'm thinking that she probably did pretty good. I was so glad I had an excuse to leave so I could go to school. Oh ya and all this from a wreck that caused $0 damage to my vehicle.
To me this just pisses me off as it seems like a frivelous lawsuit where the fucking people ask for a ridiculous amount of money. I wish sometimes that I find out while digging for a pool in my yard that I would find out that the property I live on is not on the map so I can be in my own country and not have to deal with this BS. They can sanction my ass. |

you can thank lawyers for being shit eating bastards who encourage people to be greedy so they can get more money for themselves all the while crossing what the slime so ironically call their heart and saying their concern is you.
i had a similar thing happen to me. i'm fucking sick of people suing each other for ridiculous reasons. next time give her a reason to sue and kick her fucking teeth in. |
