Posted - 08/13/2004 : 7:06:29 PM I know that this game was a staple of my child hood days, back when the only computer I ever saw was an Apple IIe. So, I thought other people might be interested to know that The Oregon Trail, Number Munchers, and many more Apple games exist over at www.virtualapple.com . It's a great way to kill time. |

Posted - 08/15/2004 : 5:59:28 PM Ya but after it rains for a month straight it gets old. I love Oregon but it's mostly for the summers. I get tired of waking up everyday to the white and gray skies in winter and it can get depressing. |

Posted - 08/14/2004 : 10:10:28 PM Personally, I love Oregon, but I'm a cold-wintery type of weather guy anyways. The north pacific is beautiful too. |

Those fuckers can walk to Oregon.
Why they wanted to come here in the first place is beyond me. I mean who was the genious that said let's go to this place up here that it rains everday for months during the winter. I mean a few people sure but as many people as went? If it would have been me I would have got here and left the next summer. |

Posted - 08/14/2004 : 11:44:26 AM i don't know why they can't just make trips. can only carry a hundred pounds? bullshit, i just killed 7 buffalo and you're going to tell me it's too much, bring the goddamn wagon over so you don't have to walk all that way. |

Posted - 08/13/2004 : 9:24:41 PM Yeah. I always think, there's four other people there, they should each carry at least fifty pounds. |

Posted - 08/13/2004 : 8:29:17 PM I have Oregon Trail and I try to play it here and there as it's one of the best games every but I'm going to have to get number munchers. I was always good at number munchers.
Does anyone else get pissed that you can only carry 100 pounds back to the wagon? Just like the white man wasting all that food and killing more than he needs. |

Posted - 08/13/2004 : 7:17:23 PM Well, the hunting is the best part of the game. |

Posted - 08/13/2004 : 7:07:32 PM i could never beat oregon trail. i'd always hunt all the animals in the area, move for 5 seconds, and hunt again. |
