Well today was a horible day. I had some trojan viruses on my computer and lost a lot of my programs. Luckily I have found a few of my discs, and found a few more online, bu am still missing a few. Does anyone have .exe or setup files for any of these programs that I had, but lost?:
- Adobe photoshop 6.0
- Cool Edit Pro
- Sony Floppy disc adaptor
- Cute FTP Pro
- Total Recorder
- Winzip
I'm sure there are many more I haven't realized are missing yet, but those are shortcuts that no longer work because the program itself has been deleted. Any help would be appreciated as I'm quite bummed about this

Erich, have you recovered most of your programs yet? I think that my install shield was somehow corrupted too. Just a mess, and a pain in the ass all over. Does anyone here know anything about running a program called HiJack to delete files? Damn I wish I were a computer nerd. |

Thanks guys, I'm a bit weary of Kazaa Lite because I have a feeling it might be where I picked up the virus in the fist place. I downloaded a deluxe version of the game Bookworm off Kazaa Lite and that is when the problems started. I'm just super glad I didn't lose all of my digital pictures. |

I think I have Photoshop. I'll double check when I get home. My copy was right off Kazaa. |

That really sucks Kevin, sorry to hear about that. I had a virus on my computer about a year ago,and it was a real pain in the ass! Finally had to wipe out everything and then put things back on.
Hope you can get back what you lost! |
