Posted - 07/04/2004 : 12:59:08 PM Hey Arthen,
Thanks for the feedback and I can empathise with not understanding the lyrics on Feel The Rhythm...two factors there, first we recorded this entire album in a bedroom and secondly, too much reverb on the vocals. The lyrics to the song actually kick ass IMO, there just buried unfortunatley.
As far as the writing process goes, its always different. We got together and we all had songs, and since then have written many more. I'd say we have about 2 or 3 albums of material waiting for our attention right now. So some songs are collaborative, some of them are less that way,, it really depends...its never the same.
For instance, Dream Song was written together, whereas Feel the Rhythm was written by Jason, James helped on the lyrics, and I wrote my own solos. We all respect eachother enough to let each member do their own thang.
Thanks for the questions. Feel free to ask anything you'd like.

Posted - 07/04/2004 : 02:58:47 AM I had a hard time figuring out what was being sung during "Feel the Rythym". It might have just been the recording or even my computer, but that was one of the main problems. In general though, I'm more of a music kind of guy.
Who does the writing? Is it a "Everyone gets together and chips in" or "one person comes to the band with a song"? |

Posted - 07/03/2004 : 5:53:37 PM hey arthen thanks for listening...what didnt u like about the lyrics?..im not taking offense...just asking for some constructive criticism...and as for the name..the whole idea was basically were all into different things..and coming together to make some music that would sound like all of our favorite bands coming together for a jam session...and just our ages...like im 19...one of our guitarists is 24..the other is 28 and our drummer is 33...if u have any other questions id be happy to answer |

Posted - 07/03/2004 : 5:45:27 PM Not too bad. I like your band's music more than the lyrics. I listened to the three songs on the player thing, and Dream Song was the one I liked best. And is there any special story behind the band name? |

Posted - 06/30/2004 : 12:45:09 AM thanks. i never play that one live because it's on a 12 string and in dadgad tuning, and it's a real motherfucker to get back into standard. |
