I loved it. I thought it was really well done and the pace was nice considering the break neck speed of the first part. Any one else got any opinions?

I enjoyed it on the basis of wanting to know the story set up in Volume 1. It's almost as though the two volumes make up one whole movie that is sorted into 2 parts-- action and story, for volumes 1 and 2, respectively.

I read somewhere that Tarantino originally had written the part of Pai Mei for himself, but he decided not to do it because he didn't feel he had time to train for the part while he was directing the films. It would have been a riot to see him play that role himself, though.

Master Pei (sp?) was awsome, I loved him and his beard. Also the fight scene at the temple was good. "If one of your hits land, I will call you master"
