So after hearing a lot about this movie and how good it is, I finally took the time to get my lazy ass to Blockbuster and I'm very happy that I did. This movie is easily one of my top favorites.

Any fans?

Gotta love Frank.

The Jun 18 issue (Tom Hanks is on the cover) of Entertainment Weekly has a good article about it. I was going to try to post the text here, but I can't find it online.

If you like the one song from it: "Mad World" I'd suggest buying the Gary Jules' album: "Trading Snakeoil for Wolftickets". It's a great album.

That I am.

I'm currently reading Invisible Monsters. Not as good as the other Palahniuk books I've read, but I'm only about 100 pages in, so we'll see what happens.

there's a clip of it at the end of "nice shoes. . .wanna fuck?" by ed gein. it goes:
guy: so why'd you move here?
girl: my parents got a divorce. my dad has emotional problems.
guy: oh, i have those too! what kind of emotional problems does your dad have?
girl: he stabbed my mom in the chest four times.
guy: [awkward silence]. . .oh.

hilarious.

There's a few posts about this movie. Lots of people on the board like it. It's okay, but I don't think it's the greatest thing ever made.
