Yet another of the many perks to working for Virgin... seems we are a sponser of the big Coachella Music Festival in the Coachella Valley (In Indio, where I used to live oddly enough). Anyways, I found out today that I was chosen to be part of the crew to work the event, which means I get free entry, lodging, and gas... not to mention the chance to see and possibly meet the like of Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Wilco, The Cure, and so on. Years ago both Tool and Rage headlined this fesival, unfortunately this year looks to be very indie-pop... which I am not all that into, but I look forward to seeing Radiohead, as I've heard nothing but amazing things about their shows. Here is the lineup for the show:

Thanks for the info, I've heard good things about Atmosphere but I've never even heard of Sage Francis.

im very jelous. The Cure and Radiohead are 2 of my favorite bands. A radio station where i live is giving away tickets to the show. but theres no way in hell ill win. 
So you better get some good ass pictures for us.
and enjoy the show.  |

Wow. That is indie to the max. It'd prefer a Bonaroo style event, but what can you do?
I'd suggest going to see Sage Francis and Atmosphere if you can. An old friend of mine listened to a lot of Sage Francis and his stuff is pretty good, and as for Atmosphere saw them when they came to my school, also fairly good. |
