Just got back from seeing this film, and wow! It was so entertaining and hilarious. It isn't a typical heist film, thanks in part to the great cast and the Coen brothers. Lot of dark parts dealing with death, which was hilarious. The repeating imagery was really funny to. If you like the Coen brothers or Tom Hanks, go check it out.

So, my girlfriend and I are debating on what movie to see tonight. We were planning Ladykillers...when I tell her the formula thing Fluffy stated her eyes open up wide and she says "Ohhh!! So it's like Sister Act?!"

I'll tell you how it was

I got a copy of Freddy vs. Jason on DVD for free as a promo at work and I must say I haven't laughed as hard in quite a while. There were sooo many classic cheesy lines in that movie, like:

"Dude, that goalie was pissed"
"What kind of faggot wears a x-mas sweater year-round anyways"
"Hey asshole, I'm up here"

As for Ladykillers I definately want to see it, but due to money consraints I think I'll be waiting.

Think of it as the: "Recently released movies thread".

why the hell am i talking about dawn of the dead inside the ladykillers thread...how does this happen!?!?
James M. Posted - 04/02/2004 : 10:56:20 AM
lol...oh yes..freddy vs jason...uh......no no dawn of the dead kicks so much ass...it has the least amount of cheesy moments ive ever seen in a horror movie..the plot is cool..(follows the 70s version to a point...and if you saw the 70s version you should know how much that one kicked ass...)...the script was great..and the acting was good too....not common elements you find in most horror movies...and it is RUTHLESS...the first 20 minutes are intense as hell...youll love it..oh man i need to see it again...
Arthen Posted - 04/02/2004 : 04:35:30 AM

Passion Of Christ: One Zombie

Dawn Of The Dead: Zombies EVERYWHERE!!!!!

I really want to see Dawn Of The Dead. If it's half as good as 28 Days Later, I'll be satisfied.

I like him better in odd roles, cause he doesn't act like a spaz the whole time.

I've noticed that with this movie people either hate it or love it. What did you not like about it?

Indeed, it was good stuff. I'd recommend it just for Tom Hank's comedic return, great job.
