i'm sure most of you are familiar with at least a little of his works. i'm listening to "music for strings, percussion and celesta." i suggest you listen to it. it's pretty awesome stuff. |

yeah, he's pretty sweet. he's not stravinsky, though.. sacre du printemps is unreal. so unreal it deserves it's own tournement. |

yes bartok is the shizznit. I haven't heard the stuff you're talking about but I'll have to check it out. I can play one of the bagetelles he wrote for piano not perfectly though. My brother actually plays it pretty good and has recorded a version of it with percussion and stuff. It's kinda weird hearing a classical piece with a drum kit but hey it's interesting. |
