i'm sure most of you are familiar with at least a little of his works. i'm listening to "music for strings, percussion and celesta." i suggest you listen to it. it's pretty awesome stuff.

yeah, he's pretty sweet. he's not stravinsky, though.. sacre du printemps is unreal. so unreal it deserves it's own tournement.

yes bartok is the shizznit. I haven't heard the stuff you're talking about but I'll have to check it out. I can play one of the bagetelles he wrote for piano not perfectly though. My brother actually plays it pretty good and has recorded a version of it with percussion and stuff. It's kinda weird hearing a classical piece with a drum kit but hey it's interesting.
