Music Style: Experimental, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Hip-hop, R&B, Oldies...Ok, everything.
Recordings: None, yet...We're working on an album. Well, we've been working on it for like a year now. I guess that's what you get when you have two audio engineers in the band (myself, and the keyboard player).

Posted - 04/03/2004 : 1:30:10 PM I'm the guitarist from Saucy Bills, we're pretty new (played 3 shows, our third we won the county Battle of the Bands) based in Maryland (we are ages 16-19). My cousin and I (who sings and plays guitar) also play random acoustic gigs around the area (from Downtown Annapolis to Millersville to Bowie). We got a lot of exposure at the Battle of the Bands (we gave away over 120 CDs) and we're playing the BOTB at Club Nation in DC this May. We are a jazzy, funky, pretty soulful band. We have a page at washingtonpost.com and we currently have both our uploaded songs in the top 20 most downloaded songs. Check us out at http://mp3.washingtonpost.com/bands/saucy_bills.shtml

just released first cd yesterday (saturday). Acoustic Rock. I play lead electric.
I listened to Shadow and Soaked. I like it. I don't want to offend anyone, but some of it reminded me a bit of Matchbox 20, especially the vocals in some places.
Good stuff.

Posted - 03/27/2004 : 11:54:36 AM i used to be in a band called shifty. we weren't that great. we did mostly jazz, rock, and funk, but we never had any good songs. then i was almost in a hardcore band, but they wanted a vocalist, and the very idea of me doing that is absurd. |

Just me and my buddy so far, him on guitar, harmonica and vocals. Me on ukulele, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and ocasional vocals. All original work except for the occasional covers, some include: "This Must be the Place (Naive Melody)", "Feel Us Shaking", "She Doesn't Exist Anymore", and I'll throw in a few lyrics from "Sledgehammer" into one of the songs that I sing. |
