HAPPY BIRTHDAY Patrick!!!! I'm late with the birthday greetings as usual, but hey this will help string the "well wishes" out until your next B-day.
Cool B-day presents!!! I caught Bela and the Tones a short TIMe ago, on PBS, it was so awesome. and Futurama....well what can I say, the best geek cartoon invented yet.

Good Luck with your resume and job search! However, you've got THAT in the palm of your hands cause your BRILLIANT.
Hopefully you'll be around more, you've been missed

Meh to Palm Springs. I'm trying to get an REU job on-campus with one of my professors this summer. Live on campus for free. Hang out with friends.....it'll be a bitch...but I'll get paid and it'll look good on my resume.

Good luck finding an engineering internship in Palm Springs...

This is so late, but I am a hard core believer in the 21st birthday and it would not be right if I didn't say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hope it was fantastic... and that you are drunk, right now... even though it's just Monday. jk

I also love how after saying how you were too busy to post or drink on your birthday, you totally went into your good times at Mardi Gra!! Yeah... uh huh... REAL busy!

Good to hear from you Patrick! Tell your dad to re-think. After spending about 7 years in the Palm Springs area, I've decided it is the most miserable place to live. My parents still live out there, but I just don't know why.

A girl I knew went to Cal Poly for that:

"I was teargassed. It was so much fun."

Thanks....sorry to disappoint....but I didn't get drunk. I had way too much to do. Control systems homework, engineering economics homework, a 20 page lab report to write on non-metallic materials. But now I'm done!.....for the week. I went out to dinner with my family and got a couple presents (the rest are coming this weekend). Got the first season of Futurama on DVD and.....Bela Fleck and the Flecktones: Live at the Quick DVD. It's awesome! Watching Bela and Victor play is even more amazing than listening to them. I'll fill you in on all the other gifts I get because I'm sure you're all dying to know what they are.

In case you haven't noticed, I've been too busy to post here since.......oh...September. Junior year of mechanical engineering blows. 20-25 page lab reports due every week.....tons of homework. Good times.

Oh! And speaking of good times.....I was at Cal Poly last weekend for Mardi Gras. Man oh man. Riots, police in riot gear shooting tear gas, helicopters, flashing women, drunk friends as well as people I never met before, bralws, almost getting run over by a train.....like I said...good times.

Here's a link to an article about it...

And sorry therippa, but I was only in San Rafael for the summer internship. And it looks like I won't be visiting there anymore as my dad is moving to Palm Springs this spring. I'm gonna miss Marin.....except the frozen tundra AKA Sausalito.

Happy Birthday!

If you are still in San Rafael, hit The Mayflower, Broken Drum, B Street Tavern, and get a dinner & drink at Joe's.

It's my route every weekend
