Posted - 01/19/2004 : 04:22:08 AM Thanks Kevin. I remembered seeing it a while ago, but I'd forgotten the name of it. That's one of the next CDs I'm gonna buy. |

Posted - 01/19/2004 : 03:15:38 AM You are thinking of "Perfect Day"... with Billy Martin and Chris Wood (of Medeski, Martin & Wood) Where they do a lot of cool covers. My favorite off that cd is the cover of Dylan's Spanish Harlem Incident. |

Posted - 01/19/2004 : 02:28:25 AM Chris Whitley is an amazing musician. Many of his cd's can be found cheaply on ebay. I love them all. Din of Exstacy, Terra Incognita, Rocket House, Dirt Floor... all great. There is even an Anthology out there so that would be a good one to check out. |

Posted - 01/19/2004 : 12:44:05 AM He's awesome. And Fluffy also happens to be his Road Manager too. Do a search for Chris Whitley in this section of the board. Check out Hotel Vast Horizon, that's a great CD. And there's another one, with the song "Kick the Stones" which is one of my favorite CW songs. I forget which album it's on though. |

Posted - 01/18/2004 : 9:57:40 PM Thanks so much for the info. Kevin! I am going to try to make that one, but I won't know til the last minute. That's a great place to see a show and I really want to hear Chris. I will probably just sit in the back somewhere, watch the show and slip out when its over. |
