Posted - 01/04/2004 : 9:43:02 PM I agree completely with Black lotus. Tim is truly in touch with his fans, and really appreciates us all.
With all of us on the boards (mainly the ones who've bee around for a while), it first seemed to me that the fans/we were making an extremely tight-knit family. This is true, however, after being here for a long time now, I see more. After meeting Tim (like most of us), I realized that the main reason for the "family" atmosphere was because of Tim himself. I mean, we all see fans of other bands as well become close, but not anything even remotely close to the TR community. The fact that Tim reaches out to us with his outgoing, come-introduce-yourself approach to his fans, really makes us all very happy and part of something special.
To go along with this idea, I have one major argument why TR is the greatest, and best with his fans. Question: who is the only artist around to release some free albums? You guessed it, its Tim! Especially in the midst of all the record label bullshit, TR comes out on top. Name me any other headlining bands/artists who would do that. None, nada, zero. They're all too greedy. OK, I've said enough and I think you all get the point and would agree with me. If not, you wouldn't be here!!!
Thanks Tim... |

Posted - 01/03/2004 : 10:44:43 AM Tim is a really cool guy to talk to, isn't he?
He's one of the few artists that actually takes the time before and after a show to meet and hang out with his fans.
A lot of us on the board have gotten the chance to meet and talk to him on several occasions (some more than others) and it's always great experience. |
