Posted - 01/05/2004 : 12:04:46 AM When I was 15 or so I got all four of mine pulled out. I was too "tough" to use the vicodin afterwards...god I was wish I had known better.
What really sucked is that I woke up in the middle of it all right when the doc cracked my jaw to get them out. The nurse noticed my eyes open so she squeezed the iv bag and I went back out COLD. I was out for about 3 hours after the operation. When I woke up all I wanted was water.
The other thing that sucked is during the initial exam and before the surgery the doctor came in to talk to me. He himself had a severe speech impediment where he talked very quietly and sounded like he had his cheeks packed with marbles. Here he is telling me what to expect and I'm doing my best not to laugh at him |

Posted - 01/03/2004 : 10:49:21 AM Hope all went well...I had all 4 of mine ganked out a few years ago...not to mention that they gave me some really good drugs too.
Just whatever you do...don't use a straw for your drinks with those tender sockets until those bitches heal!**
Peace! Steve.

Posted - 12/30/2003 : 10:45:30 AM You really only need the pain meds if the pain is unbearable. Like when I got mine out they gave me 25 percocets...only used like 2 and half. |

Posted - 12/30/2003 : 03:02:42 AM Just be careful not to get addicted to Vicadin afterwards, I know some dudes who got hooked on the ol' V-pill after having some dental work done... NOT GOOD! Otherwise, I'm sorry to hear that man... it's gonna hurt. |
