Posted - 12/22/2003 : 03:21:14 AM I'm currently watching the 4th (most current) season on DVD and I just watched the episode where Tony kills Ralphie... wow, that was one of the most entertaining hours of visual media I have ever seen in my life. For those of you who have never seen the likes of such HBO series as Sopranos or Six Feet Under, you know what to ask for for xxx-mas. Seriously, they are far more entertaining than anything else out there on normal TV, with the exception of perhaps 24. |

Posted - 01/15/2004 : 03:51:23 AM Thanks for the "preview" Pam! I can't wait to see the last episodes either... I'm anxiously waiting for my friend Crystal to send the latest episodes to me on DVD since they don't show it over here. |

Posted - 01/12/2004 : 12:07:42 PM I'm here Sorrel, and yes I am addicted to Sex and the City too! I don't want it to end! (I only got to see the 2nd episode tonight. It kind of threw me for a loop with Samantha having breast cancer. I love the way she got the results so quickly, LOL, it took me 4 months to get the answers she got in a few days! That's TV for you!)
BTW Arthen, it's a girl thing! LOL So don't worry about not liking it!
As for the Sopranos, I watched some episodes with my family, but I don't like violence......give me sex instead! LOL |

Posted - 01/12/2004 : 08:16:01 AM hahaha.... right after hitting 'post new reply' I realized that my Sex & the City addiction is most likely not going to be one that's understood here... Pam, where are you??? |

Posted - 01/12/2004 : 04:13:28 AM Maybe it's better that you're not interested. If you watch Sex and the City, you'll expect all women to be totally neurotic. |

Posted - 01/12/2004 : 02:16:42 AM I never understood the allure of Sex and the City myself, but maybe it is because I'm a man. I mean, the whole premise, four middle aged woman dealing with sex, relationships, clothing, work, each other, etc., doesn't do anything for me. |

Posted - 01/12/2004 : 12:56:20 AM Yeah, well just when I thought that episode I wrote about was the best... then came the season finale. WOW. When Carmella threw Tony out of the house, that was not only an amazing culmination to a storyline but the acting was off the charts. I can't wait for the next season.
As for Sex and the City, I've never been able to get into that. I've had a few different girls get me to try to watch, but it's just too much of a chick flick type thing geared for women viewers for me. |

Posted - 01/11/2004 : 11:57:55 PM I am addicted to HBO TV. I really don't want anything else (well... aside from the news). I am getting slightly depressed because Sex & the City is now running it's last season... That said, HBO is so good that once that final season is up, the new season of Sopranos is coming on.
Band of Brothers is awesome! One of my friends got the boxset for Christmas... I am trying to figure out when I have time for a marathon. |

Posted - 01/02/2004 : 9:05:47 PM Band of Brothers was truely amazing to watch. It's worth every penny to buy the box set. |

Posted - 12/23/2003 : 1:32:12 PM I've never gotten into Sopranos or Six Feet Under... but I've heard good things.
I'll tell you though... another AMAZING HBO series is Band Of Brothers. I saw it when it was on a few years ago, and I've been watching it with a friend on DVD the past few days. Amazing stuff. I would definitely recommend watching it to anyone who liked Saving Private Ryan or is interested in WW2. |
