That's pretty nuts.

A friend of mine who is a mind-blowing guitar player has been experimenting with stuff like that, he's been making songs just out of tapping artificial harmonics. I can't even begin to grasp that concept.

How the hell does he get so much noise out of tapping that acoustic!?

His website is finally up and fancy that he lives like an hour or two away from me. Check out the site though.

I saw that about a month ago on that site (they have some pretty fun games)... and I still haven't really heard of him yet.

I got a no site configured at this adress message when I went to play the video but I listened to the Mp3 and it was cool.
What's funny is that I was listening to the local jazz station this weekend and they were doing this live performance and when they interviewed this guy he kept saying to go to doolingguitars.com. So I guess that synchronicity.

this looks like it's a link to the video. It is a large file but well worth the wait of the download - trust me. You need QuickTime player.

I have checked this guy out before, and would have went to see him live in Baltimore with Charlie Hunter if not for a damn phonology exam the next day. The website is down, huh? when it was up, I got a sick video of him playing a double necked acoustic guitar. He didnt play one neck at a time... he played both,... the bottom one with his left hand, and the top one with his right. It is mind-boggling. I do that kinda stuff ( on a signle-neck) and it STILL bends my eyeballs just to see how fast he can do it. If any of you IM me, I can transfer the file to you. Otherwise, keep checking the video section of his website to see if it pops up again. it's called "Knock on Wood."

Reminds me a lot of "The Wayfarer"

Much more impressive than that Asian guy who was slapping all those buttons.

One of my residents showed this to me a couple days ago, he's definitely a very talented guitarist.

I haven't but that is very impressive. Unfortunately his website isn't working, so no more info.
