I got engaged recently, and decided that I needed to tell the "family" here. We have been together for over 3 years now, so I popped the question (she said yes too). We decided to set the big day for October 2, 2004. I am sooo excited! I had to tell everyone! 
I feel like everyone here is kinda like another family (for all of us I think), so I wanted to share in my happiness. Thanks. Later...

No worries. The only reason I knew it was old, was because I remember last year when he posted it! I hardly ever look either, unless a post suddenly appears with 11 comments, and I'd never seen it before. But that's just because my life is boring and sad, and this is one of the only things I have left.

Doh! I never look at the dates, I always just assume a post at the top is recent. I should check though, as I've seen some old posts, including this one, being resurrected.

Congrats! I'm assuming you meant to say Oct. 2, 2005. That is a weird coincidence, because I'm getting married October 1, 2005!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words, and the not-so-kind words from some (eh hem...hahaha). Really, I mean it, thanks a lot. If there was a way to invite you all, I would. Its gonna be a fun wedding. Thats for sure. My fiance's family is mostly Irish, so you can imagine. Guinness and Jameson in abundance! One would say there will be a plethora of alcohol. Oh yeah!!! |

Anything? Well, uh I guess I, deep down, am feeling a little confused. I mean, suddenly, you get married, and you're supposed to be this entirely different guy. I don't feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a waitress taking an order, and I found myself wondering what color her underpants might be. Her panties. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton, underpants. But I sort of think well maybe they're silk panties, maybe it's a thong. Maybe it's something really cool that I don't even know about. You know, and uh, and I started feeling.....what? what I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?

True love is hard to find, sometimes you think you have true love and then you catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team your girlfriend...
