Well, timing for this couldn't have been much worse. This past weekend, they were re-paving the parking lot of my apt. complex and we had to park out on the street where parking is normally a tow-zone, but was allowed for this one night, so the next day I walk out to the street to my car to go to work and the piece of crap wont start. Definitely not a dead battery, because it was turning, just not starting. Great now my car is stuck in a tow zone. I had to borrow my girlfriend's car to o to work, and left a note begging for my car not to be towed. I called my brother, and by sheer luck he just happened to be near by, with his wife visiting his wife's sister who lives in the same town as me. He comes over and tows my car back in the lot, and examines that it isn't getting a spark sent to the spark plugs, so we go to the auto store and buy a new coil, install it, and still NOTHING. GRRRRRRRR now I'm debating if I even want to put any more money into that car since it is an 1989 Ford Escort with A LOT of miles. In the meantime it has been quite frustrating.

Happy that all worked out for you... In the long run $400 isn't a bad investment to make on a car!

And i am also surprised that I am the only one that will admit to a dirty mind on the board as well!

Wow, I'm surprised Sorrel was the only one to hop on that possibility to make a joke about Jason saying he "spent quality time in the back seat of my car" lol

well anyways, it cost me $400 to get my car back, I had to have it towed to Pep Boys, and they had to replace the starter module and the distributer cap. Oh well, at least I have a car again, I just have to be extremely stingy this week and not spend any money.

Yeah... I hated saying goodbye to a car that I spent quality time in the backseat of as well...

Couldn't resist that one... but really... it sucked... I hit a bridge right after dropping $900 to repair it from the first accident I had with it... But now I have my current baby, so all it well, but my memories are still bitter sweet of Estella (my Eclipse that I totalled).

I think things like this can be a blessing though... I hope everything turns out ok for you... Car trouble sucks, for sure. What's your plan?

I've spent some quality time in the backseat of that car. I'd hate to see it die.

(sorry to hear about the car, Kevo)
