Posted - 09/17/2003 : 10:37:03 AM OH.. .I have something to post about... I am sure that in the future I am going to make an entire thread about this one... but I am not the proud owner of tickets to London!!!
My old roommate Sarah, our friend Jenny (Sarah's best friend actually), and I are going to backpack Europe for 7 weeks next summer... we'll be there in the end of April, all of May, to like mid-June...
I am SOOOO excited.. I've been to Italy before, and Jenny's been to the UK, but Sarah's never left the country... in fact, I think she was only on a plane once, when she was younger, and is freaking out about the flight... but, we do have a direct flight from Orlando to London, which obviously, kicks ass...
So buying the tickets sorta confirmed... WE ARE GOING... I had to do all the research for the flights, and I have a feeling that this is going to be a trend for the rest of the trip... but whatever... just means we'll spend more time in Switzerland! I know that several people have done this trip, or ones like it, so please please please.. ideas, opinions, must sees, must reads... IM me, email me.. whatever... I need to get some fire under my ass to plan this! |

I never did like Ole' Baby Frankie because he destroyed my lime trees a few years back and never did repay me for the "favor" I did him in '83. He's on my right side, I think, but I really can't read that well because there is a layer of Ohio clay above me. I like this lining, though. It's really, really comfortable. A little dark...Wait...why can't I breathe anymore? What the hell? I haven't inhaled for thirty-three years! This is screwed up! How can I still think? What's wrong with this picture? My hand broke off last year and I've been trying to put it back on but I can't lift my arms up...
that's funny, sounds more like D phrygian mode to me... |

Posted - 09/16/2003 : 11:36:16 AM Along those lines people are in school again, more work, etc. I guess it's the realest sign that summer is over.
And the "whorehouse". That's hilarious. |

Posted - 09/16/2003 : 09:40:41 AM I'm working my second job again now so I have little time to post but I have read!! I am always here in spirit though, (if that makes a difference.
I ordered the DM solo album from the whorehouse. I guess I'll get a bonus CD of D and TIM from their last tour. No tunes from the show I saw in May are on it though. Its too bad, I thought the crowd and the sound were excellent at that show. I'm sure I'll enjoy it just the same. Its suppossed to be delivered on the release date ??? and since the whorehouse is so punctual (NOT!!) we shall see. |

And congrats to Jason for hitting the big six-O-O-O. |

Posted - 09/15/2003 : 02:07:32 AM Here's a little piece of my fascinating lab report that I'm working on.
The four digit number associated with aluminum is similar to that of steel. The first digit signifies the main alloying elements. The second number shows modification, and the last two digits represent the concentration of aluminum present. In the case of the 6061 treated and untreated aluminum, the main elements are aluminum, magnesium, and silicon; they are age-hardened; and the aluminum concentration is 99.61%. The T6 is a temper designation which shows the amount of strengthening that the aluminum has. T6 states that it was solution-treated and artificially aged. Other examples of temper designations are annealed (O) and as-fabricated condition (F). The T6 6061 aluminum is a heat-treatable wrought alloy, which means that it is shaped by plastic deformation. It has 1% magnesium, 0.6% silicon, and is most commonly used in aircraft frames, pistons, and railroad cars. Specifications such as the yield and ultimate stress for the untreated aluminum can be found in Appendix A. No published data for the treated aluminum can be shown since it is an unusual alloy, and therefore no official testing has been performed. |
