Posted - 08/29/2001 : 12:13:57 PM So, I've been listening to Dave & Tim's Live at Luther College and listening to #41 tryin' to figure out how Tim gets that panning sound. He plays it on other songs. It's an effect he uses like right when Dave finishes singing. Please give me some info!!!!

Posted - 08/30/2001 : 3:37:41 PM i've experimented with this setup, and it is a combination of the DD-5 the wah/volume pedal and a slide. it can be done without a slid, but it doesn't sound nearly as cool. hope this helps.

Posted - 08/30/2001 : 12:05:47 PM Well, I was listening some more and I'm thinking maybe it's his panning effect on his Boss delay pedal and maybe he's using a slide. Thanks for the thoughts!

Posted - 08/29/2001 : 12:23:30 PM I think thats the Volume/Wah. heres what the setup page has to say about his rig for the D+T tours:
Now, as far as electonics go, on the Dave and Tim tours he played through a Morley Pro Series 1 Wah Volume (PWV), a Boss DD-5 digital delay, and then a Countryman direct box.

hope that helps
