Posted - 10/30/2001 : 4:50:46 PM when tim seems to use the reverse effect it only plays the reverse. My pedal plays notes forward and then reverse. so im wondering if someone knows how to get it to play only the reverse without playing the note forward as well. One other question, tim seems to be able to loop things and play over them without the part he is playing over from looping, like on stream where he plays those bottom 3 strings on a loop and then plays the cocaine fury over that and it doesnt loop the fast cocaine part, how do you loop something and then play with it still going and keep the part you play over it from looping? just curios, Pauly

Posted - 10/30/2001 : 6:58:55 PM I dont know why your reverse plays it forward first... it should go reverse. But for the stream thing... set your dd-5 to option 5 (HOLD) Hold down the pedal while playing what you want looped, then release it and it will loop. Its kind of trickey, but after practice u can get it everytime w/o problems.
This may hurt a little but it's something you'll get used to - TOOL
