Posted - 08/18/2003 : 1:21:21 PM I saw the Flecktones last night, and man that was an awesome show. It was my first time seeing them. I've seen Vic before with W3W so I went ready to have my my mind blown and they surpassed my preparation. During Bela's Solo act he started playing Love is all you need and the whole crowd was singing along then he transitioned in to Lennon's Imagine with the crowd still singing. The playing with the nose was cool two. Everything about this show was awesome from Jeff's simultaneus saxophone playing to Vic's tappin' and thumpin'. It was at the zoo though so they didn't allow any recording but in retrospect I think I could have snuck in the recorder and mic with ease. Wish I did because I to hear it again. Especially the encore. They started with throwdown at the hoedown I think (well after we did the hippo thing) and then they played everything from Ding dong the witch is dead to Spiderman to Wipeout it was mind numbing. Won't ever miss them again. |

Posted - 08/18/2003 : 2:08:17 PM Yeah but it seemed like a short amount of time as Vic and Jeff rejoined, although it's hard for me to remember everything as my mind was being blown away through the music entering the ears. |
