God damn...I've never seen that many great musicians on one stage...holy shit...I'm friggin' speachless...It's like a car crash memory...I really don't remember much! At 8 in the morning, my dad is sitting on the computor and says, "I wanna see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones...wanna come?" I'm tired as hell, but I mumble, "Sure..." Other than that, all I can remember is that Bela's stage guy had a baby, and that he said, "Our new CD will be out in about a week on the 12th...wait what day is it? The Ninth? Okay, a little less than a week then...I was close." and, responding to someone yelling I LOVE YOU BELA!!!!!! "Grandma?"
The music was better than anything I've ever heard a band do, way way above what I expected...AT one point, Bela and Vic were hitting eachother's instruments to get a beat going...it was hysterical! Wow...I have to see these guys again, soon! |

Hell yes. The 'Tones are amazing live. I cant wait to see them again when they come back through here. Did you get to meet them? There great people, especially Jeff, I thought he was the nicest. |
