Posted - 07/27/2003 : 10:28:24 AM Hello, I have a Takamine Santa Fe with AccuraAcoustic Preamp and a Sunrise magnetic pickup in soundhole. I want to blend the two and have just ordered the LR Baggs MixPro to do this.
My question is do I need the LR Baggs 'Buffer Jack' so I can disable the Takamine onboard preamp (AccuraAcoustic) and use the phantom power from the MixPro (to save on batteries!). Or can I go straight from the piezo pickup and the Sunrise magnetic to a normal stereo jack. . . then onto the MixPro (and still use phantom power)?
