no mention of excitebike either yet! This reminds me of a shirt I saw at Hot Topic with a Nintendo controller and writing on the shirt that says "Know Your Roots"

anyone ever play the 7th Saga for snes? that was one of the best rpg's, besides final fantasy 4 and 6. mechwarrior (the orginal) was pretty fun too.

It would always bug me when we'd try to play and the screen would be all screwed so we'd take the cartridge out and blow in it. Always did the trick!

the zelda are the greastest games i have ever played.
the problem with todays system is that the graphics take away from gameplay. this holds less true for nintendo systems, but with all the flashy graphics ans cut scenes, people are basing their decisions on graphics. that's why people like xbox. the graphics are awesome, but the games either are ports or they blow. someone at this point usually mentions halo. it's a good game, but not better than perfect dark, n64 game. xbox is all graphics. no gameplay. systems made by nintendo and the playstations aren't running into this problem as much because they've been around and have experience, as well more japanese companies making games for them. the best game designers are in japan. final fantasies, zeldas, ect. the focus on the game is still present in ps2 and and 'cube and you can tell. xbox won't last.

Definitely Tecmo Super Bowl! When football was cool enough only to need four plays.

Man, that game rocked. Aw...the sweet taste of nostalgia.

Ditto. Man that's weird. I thought it was new when I was like 8 years old. And SNES didn't come out til about 10 years later. Now there's a new console coming out every few months. I feel sorry for all the kids out there growing up with Playstation2, Gamecube, etc and never really knowing the fun of 8-bit graphics. **SIGH**

Oh, and one more thing. TECMO SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!

Hollywood Videos still sell the old games! If they have that whole extra Video Game center anyways.

I still take out my old NES and play Duck Hunt. And SNES was, in my opinion, the greatest Video Game System ever.
