He's a great performer and musician. He has more energy than Martha Stewart on speed (Just send this thru the grinder and mix it with three tablespoons of water and mold into a sausage!!!!!! HAHAHA!)

david bryne..he makes me giggle.

I watched one of his shows on trio once, and it looked like it'd be a really pumpin' live show, but he was a little out there. It's like he's stuck in this pschedelic/1980's/white funk phase!
Jay Posted - 06/26/2003 : 2:38:04 PM
Probably a LOT more than heroine...Man, that guy is a little fucked up...But awesome, nonetheless.
Arthen Posted - 06/26/2003 : 03:31:01 AM
I think it's the whole thing of him having his mind screwed over by years of heroin. But that's just my guess.

I imagine he twitches a lot.
Jay Posted - 06/26/2003 : 12:05:23 AM
I am extremely frightened of David Byrne, even though I love his art and music. There's just something aboot him that makes my flesh curdle.
Arthen Posted - 06/25/2003 : 6:54:07 PM
Yeah Teri! I'd really like to meet Peter Gabriel or David Byrne, except I'd be really intimidated. I imagine them to talk like how their songs are worded. I would be lost.

Wow...she's so gorgeous.
KevinLesko Posted - 06/24/2003 : 11:25:36 PM
I know which musician I'd like to "meet" ....

hehe seriously though, I'd have to say the members of either Rage Against the Machine, or System of a Down

oh and by the way, Elliot Smith is indeed very cool, just depressing as hell, his song "needle in the hay" from the Royal Tennenbaums sdtk is just awesome!!

dan p. Posted - 06/24/2003 : 4:45:47 PM
i'd like to meet bob dylan so i could tell him to stop doing music and become an author or writer.
Jay Posted - 06/24/2003 : 4:20:25 PM
I think it would be awesome to get these musicians in a van for a cross country trip with me:

Leo Kottke
Kelly Joe Phelps
Bob Dylan
Keith Richards (just cause he's always drunk)
Johnny Cash
Richie Havens
and last but not least!
TR!

Imagine that...Dylan and Richards arguing

"Ay! KEEEEEETH!"

"Wat the 'ell do ou want with me, Bop?"

Johnny Cash going "Boom Chucka Boom Chucka" on his guitar, Kottke telling stories, Richie Havens singing "Get Up, Stand Up!" and smokin a J, TR building an alien craft out of toothpicks and Sculpy, and KJP drinking shots of Jameson with Keith Richards.

NO MOE!

That was as equally bad as the Flaming Moes themselves, I know.
victorwootenfan Posted - 06/24/2003 : 12:48:01 PM
you can have the next one then!

I didn't understand it for the longest time, but then when i figured it out everyone stopped doing it!
Miss Sorrel Posted - 06/24/2003 : 12:32:47 PM
DAMN IT!!! I missed this one... can I have the next?? (jk)
victorwootenfan Posted - 06/24/2003 : 12:05:00 PM

{=HTG=} Posted - 06/24/2003 : 11:58:12 AM
Here VWF...pop a, 'you know what' for that 20th post.
{=HTG=} Posted - 06/24/2003 : 11:54:22 AM

For a Boyd album, there isnt much violin work. Only a few second solos, and there's only about 3 that come to mind. But yes, I got pictures of the Flecktones too...I just havent developed them yet. Though I plan to very soon.

Eh....not what I expected i'll tell you that. Honestly though, dont bother. Or maybe just download a song or two and see what you think. Same here with not putting the Flecktones on my list, they each autographed there names on the 'left of cool' cd booklet near there picture. It's awesome, Jeff Coffin's name is written on his forehead.

for some reason i didn't expect boyd's album to be great, even tho i think it has the capabilitie to be good. I got pictures with the flecktones personally. sucks tho, my pic with bela didn't come out!

Great choice!!! I've heard he's brilliant and interesting. And I've met TR so I can't pick him.

My first choice most certainly would be Frank Zappa(big surprise I know)
of the living:
Perry Farrell
Babik Reinhardt (Django's son)
Jimmy Rosenburg
Mickey Hart

Ok, I can't pick just one, unless Frank were alive.
