well out of the 3 gigs i had in the last 3 days the first when went well with a different drummer, lots of improv/jamming...the 2nd nite was awesome!! 2nd nite was easily our best show ever..and of course then our 3d nite was horrible, the crowd wasn't into it, so we weren't into it either..
2nd nite rocked! |

I met Ben Schumin yesterday!! Like I said before i'm dating his younger sister, and still hadn't come in contact with him until last nite. He is awesome!!! He is the single most funniest man i think i've ever met in my entire life, really quirky, really random! I was kissing my girlfriend good bye, and a car pulled up, and she goes "OH NOOO, it's my brother!!!" He then kinda gets out and holds a 10 minute conversation with me about my jmu orientation, about fire alarms, and about taping a sign to the window of his van that says "white." All this time my girlfriend is going "leave, go, leave, i'll talk to you later, go now!!" to ben.
Then, as quick as he came, he kinda scittered away into the mythical world of his life and his house. What a strange encounter! |

Hey HTG, I also found Miss Sorrel's post quite amusing and her comments reminded me of my motto: Fluffy, trapped in a world he never created! I actually have it one side of the purple dog tag I always wear. It is pretty much the way I feel daily. HEHE
PS:I stole it from Howard the Duck and I was happy to discover that this thread was not about me when I clicked on it. Paranoid maybe? |

I too was rather questionable of the meaning behind this thread... But, I *might* get the general idea down. Today has been a rather, 'wow, I am the biggest loser I know' hard on myself type of day... and I was harping on myself about how I have no life, or rather the one I have created for myself is a lacking in zest, if you will... So naturally, when I begin to think too hard about anything that doesn't give me that warm fuzzy feeling inside, I opt to distract myself... So here I am... once thinking I have no life... What's funny is that i found this a fwe years ago online.. Well i started dating this girl, and she ends up being Schumin's little sister. As soon as i made the connection she jokingly says "If you want to break up with me now, it's okay!"
