There was a poll today posted on the AOL NEWS page:

TERRIBLE TRIO: Pick the WORST

Saddam, Osama, Kim Jong II

Who do you fear the most?

I answered: NONE OF THE ABOVE

Why wasn't Gov Bush on that list?

That's my choice, at the moment, I fear him the most of any of those 4.

Thanx Kev, as you know, this is a topic I feel quite strongly about. It comes down to the brainwashing of the masses. This kind of poll only goes to instill horror and fear and really doesn't address the situation in the world as it stands. It just simplys it for the masses and people begin to see those 3 as the big FEARS in the world when I feel there are even greater fears that might be being overlooked or worse, having our attention diverted from. Anyway, I could go on and on about this, but noone likes reading my longwinded diatribes. So for the sake of brevity, I will keep it short. HEHE

if i lived in any south american or african or any third world country, i would fear bush with a passion!

If I were living in any country other than the US, Britain, or Israel, I would fear Gov. Bush more than those three combined...

Any french person that doesn't like America should visit Utah beach and look at all those gravestones of american soldiers that died liberating them from the germans.

I'm afraid of bush too. on the subject of countries though, i'd love to live in Italy for a few years, that'd be a lot of fun i think.

HAHAHA yeah, you should, hehe

When I went to Europe I had a choice to go to France or hang in Spain a bit longer. I chose Spain. Two reasons, first I loved
Spain and was having a great time exploring the haunts of Hemmingway like Casa Boutines, and secondly except for the Art, I have no real desire to see France, not that I would turn down a chance to go if it was a go or stay home deal.

I don't particularly share your hatred for France, but I know they are not big on Americans there. I am glad I chose to stay in longer in Madrid.

But i don't know anybody that actually "likes" France. Sure they got some cool buildings and country side but look at there contempt for us. I think that whether you like Bush or don't, (cue up the patriotic music) or think war is good or are some crazy dude, one thing we can all aggree on is that France sucks. That is what makes us Americans. (this is the part where the fireworks start shooting off)

What do ya think? should i be running for office or what...

i trust you are all smart enough to sense i am being somewhat sarcastic

Yeah I know where you are coming from but Bush does scare me. I just never felt comfortable with him (and I voted for him...so go figure)

Actually I voted for him because I like Chaney and Colin Powell.

Bush isn't a terrorist, true, but I just don't trust him.
GRock Posted - 02/07/2003 : 08:18:45 AM
why is Bush so scary. Bush is no terrorist. He has to get approval before he can go out and do anything too crazy. He's not trying to start a nuclear war. An argument that the US is a terrorist nation i can understand (though i disagree), but Bush isn't scary. I want to know why the United Nations wasn't on the list. and don't even get me started about France...
