Posted - 02/01/2003 : 9:32:49 PM OK, me and my dad go shopping. We go inot a half price book adn music store, whihc at first, I think is extremely crappy. Well, I'm thumbing through some records...and BAM...Gordon Lightfoot's first album! It's not available on Cd or tape, only on record, and hasn't been printed for over thirty years. And not that many were sold. It's worth a good fifty bucks i'd say, cause it's in MINT condition, not a scratch to be seen. I'm very happy. |

Posted - 02/04/2003 : 4:22:04 PM Yeah, I know...I didn't get that one, I got his first as a solo artist under Gordon Lightfoot. That one you mentioned is the rarist of the rare. $683 is accually pretty cheap than what I've seen some people pay for it! |

Posted - 02/01/2003 : 10:35:25 PM Nope , no herpes. There's quite a few good ones, Like Early Moring Rain, And For Lovin' Me ( Covered by Peter, Paul and Mary #1 hit.) and Ribbon of Darkness (Covered by Marty Robbins, #1 country hit.) Plus, there's the Way I Feel, which is a very beautiful melancholy song, and Steel Rail Blues, which is a classic early-Lightfoot tune. I love it. |

Posted - 02/01/2003 : 10:14:05 PM Awesome! I don't think any of my record albums are in mint condition! All are scratched. Some, like my older Beatle albums are horribly scratched. Somebody either didn't like it or was extremely good at taking care of it! Whatever, their loss is your gain! I'm happy for you!
I had forgotten about Gordon Lightfoot! What songs were on his first album? |
