Yep, second move in 4 months. This place is much MUCH better. Almost twice as big as the other place, and only 0.4 mile from work, compared to about 7 miles before. Central heat/air, new washer/ dryer, dishwasher, new carpet and tile and ceiling fans and garbage disposal and sink, walk in closet. And to top it all off...the phone jacks just happen to still be connected for some reason... don't know why or how, but it suits my purpose.

Wow! A new place already! I never got to visit the last one. More importantly, the POOL. No pool at the new place? Whatta sacrifice. But hey, if you get to walk around naked, that's a major bonus. Enjoy the new digs!!

"Jeez. I'm gone for a little while and suddenly everyone's getting delusions of grandeur!"

Congrats on the new pad.

All settled in Jason?

Evergreen it is then!

And the walking around the house naked....well, let's just say that the new place knows what I look like...

Your own place is a great thing! After having one psychotic
roomie over the summer and a bitchy one for a few years before
that, I'm so happy to have my own place too. Enjoy! Don't forget to walk around the house naked just because you can.

By the way, you're the first person to ever ask my real name on the board!
It's Brenda but I like evergreen better...

Erich, I only had dialup at my old house, too. I have T3 at work. That didn't change. If I have the $ down the road, then DSL or cable is definately a possibility from home, but not too soon. I have to buy stuff first, since this is the first apartment I'll have to furnish. And this one will keep me longer, since I'm in a 6 month lease right now...but I'm sure I'll stay longer unless something I don't know about pops up.

Evergreen (by the way, I STILL don't know your real name, I think)... I'll be living alone. I'm not too fond of having a roommate. Only have for about 8 months, once, and that was it. Of course we lived in one room (well, it was basically a dorm)... So this house is all mine, and that's super. I don't know the landlords stance on kittens.

I walked to work this morning. Very nice. 7 minutes, the long way. I can probably get it down to 5 easily, and less than 2 on a bike. Great! Maybe I'll 'lose a few unwanted pounds' and my heart will thank me. And I'll be the svelte dapper young man you've all come to know me as .

By the way, kittens make a house a home! HeeHee

does that mean youre back to dial up unfortunatly? but thats no matter either way, congrats on the move! hopefuly this one keeps you put for a little longer, until you can purchase your own or settle with someone.
