YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Threatens To Kill Passenger On Flight - Dec. 9, 2002
YNGWIE MALMSTEEN threatened to kill a fellow passenger on a flight to Tokyo, Japan after the woman poured a glassful of water on the guitarist.
The passenger, who had no prior contact with Yngwie, allegedly overheard Malmsteen making derogatory comments about homosexuals and decided to show her disapproval by emptying the contents of her glass on the hefty axeman.
A member of Yngwie's touring entourage, who was traveling with Malmsteen at the time, had a tape recorder running and managed to catch Yngwie's reaction on tape immediately after the guitarist was "assaulted" by the offended passenger.

This thing is hysterical!!! I have been running around saying the "You've unleashed the fockin' Fury!!" for days now. I have even convinced a wrestler friend of mine to incorporate it into his performace. So watch for Julio DiNero to be screaming "You have unleashed the fuckin' fury!" at a wrestling match near you!!

Thanks for the info Julio.. and thanks for the "middlemaning" Fluffy! I was hoping for it to be a UPW date, but the fact that it is XPW is kind of a mixed blessing... its in LA but I've actually been wanting to check out XPW for the past few years, and now I have a good reason. It looks like they just announced the dates on their website: http://www.xpwrestling.com/index2.htm
I'm actually kinda bummed that they dont use ticketmaster though, since I have a ticketmaster outlet at work and it would be easy for me just to get them there.. oh well. Actually just a bit of background for ya, XPW is owned by a guy who alo owns a pretty big porn company if memory serves me right... I'm pretty sure they have a very violent in-ring product as well. Anyways, thanks for the info.. I'll do my best to see what I can do about going to one of the two shows. |

I actually missed it. Everyone bailed on me and I didn't want to go alone. I talked to Julio and he was on Smackdown the other day, apparently talking to Hulk Hogan backstage or something. He also wrestled but it was one of the matches for the audience and not the TV cameras. He was happy, because he lost and he wouldn't want that to be on TV anyway. Well the picture seems to have gone away, glad you got to see if before it disappeared. I asked him about it and he confirmed it was most likely him. Hope you will get a chance to hook up with him while he is in the LA area. He is a very kewl guy!! |

thanks for the picture.. i guess I was 99% sure that is who I thought it was, now I'm 100% sure. He even wrestled a big time match with 2 cold Scorpio at the legends of wrestling PPV. |

I will ask him, but that is a pretty safe bet. I know he wrestles on the independent circuit. You will have to let me know if he uses the line. If he does, you can tell everyone where he got and that I was the reason for it's inclusion. That would be so kewl. HEHE, looks like I will get my fingers in the wrestling world as well. HEHE Sorry about calling it the Farm League but I could of sworn that what I have heard him and Rew call it before. I will find out about his dates and let you know. |

wow, awesome... if you don't mind, could you ask him if any of those dates will with UPW? They are an Independant promotion (that is the proper lingo, not Farm League just FYI... sorry I'm a wrestling geek). The reason I was wondering is that UPW runs the majoity of their shows out of The Galaxy in Santa Ana (where Tim has played a few times) and which is also just a few minutes from my house. I got your email, so will indeed remid you next month. |

INDEED it is the same Julio DiNero!!! He said he was the tag team champion or something when he wrestled for ECW. He told me he will be in the LA area performing around the end of Feb or early March. He told me to tell you to come by and see him and remind him you are Rew and Fluffy's friend. He was quite impressed that you knew who he was. So was I actually, HEHE. |

If it's the same Julio DiNero, he works at 9:30 Club. Remember when Rew was telling you we had a friend who was going to try and get him into it as a referee? That was Julio. I didn't know he had done anything on ECW, but he travels all over performing. I don't really know as much about it as you and Rew, but I think the Julio I know is in the farm leagues or something. I will ask him when I am at work tonite. |
