the man who wrote the soundtrack for the early 90s film 'the piano'. the movie wouldnt be in my top 5 but the soundtrack is AMAZING. i strongly suggest to download the main theme, simply called 'the piano,' by michael nyman. in my humble opinion this could be the most beautiful song written in the 20th century, for a lot of different reasons. check it out guys.

sincerely hungover,
brian

about my drinking, i had a great deal of liquor tuesday night. one shot of 99 berries, 4 shots of 80 proof vodka, and three shots of cpt morgan. in an hour and a half...im ashamed. that was so dumb.

Michael Nyman is one of my fave composers!! I discovered him thru one of my all time fave directors, Peter Greenaway!! He has done the scores for many Greenaway films.

Draughtsman's Contract, The (1982)
Zed & Two Noughts, A (1985)
Drowning by Numbers (1988)
Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover, The (1989)
Prospero's Books (1991)

He also appears to have scored a film about another very talked about person on the board:

Charged: The Life of Nikola Tesla (2003)
