PJK Posted - 01/20/2003 : 8:01:34 PM
I think what Jay was refering to is Polychlorinated Byphenyls (PCB's) A group of compounds that include chemicals that may be carcinogenic at low levels of exposure over extended periods of time and may have other toxicological effects. Linked to past use of certain herbicides and pesticides.

These used to be in the news quite a bit, haven't seen much about them lately.

Hiffinscoot.
pcbTIM Posted - 01/18/2003 : 10:20:20 PM

And Pam, thanks. It's good to be back.
Jay Posted - 01/18/2003 : 10:13:17 PM
What a ho. Pcb...isn't that some kind of chemical they put on dead things to make them flap about and scare the elderly?

I'm right here. Hehe. Actually, I was up in San Francisco with my dad until the 7th. And I didn't get back to my apartment on-campus until yesterday. For the first TIMe, there are way too many threads to sift through, so I'm just gonna pick up from here. Otherwise I'll be reading and responding for the next 4 or 5 hours.
KevinLesko Posted - 01/12/2003 : 4:11:07 PM
sorry Terri... all work and no play for me with School and work, my only free time comes after work (around 10:30pm) until I go to sleep.

The labs are being painted. So there's no MH allowed in the lab, and that means no work for us to do. So I'm just sitting here not doing anything at all. ... just typing emails and whatnot.

pcbTIM Posted - 12/04/2002 : 3:38:16 PM
Apparently his lungs.
Evergreen Posted - 12/04/2002 : 3:14:46 PM

enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/04/2002 : 3:09:44 PM
via the filter of my lungs?
pcbTIM Posted - 12/04/2002 : 2:38:20 PM
Perhaps you should consider removing the paint fumes.
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/04/2002 : 2:34:14 PM
MwwwwaaaaAhhhhahahahha.... point taken. That was seriously funny. But again, I'm sure the paint fumes are affecting my thinking now.

WHEEEE!!!
pcbTIM Posted - 12/04/2002 : 2:25:56 PM
I think it's the fact that you think good looks and intellegence run in your family.
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/04/2002 : 2:24:10 PM
Well, maybe it's unwritten just like our other unwritten written message board laws. Hmmm...something doesn't add up....
pcbTIM Posted - 12/04/2002 : 1:50:57 PM
I don't think that that could be classified as a "rule" per se......but I'll add it nonetheless.
Fluffy Posted - 12/04/2002 : 03:37:56 AM
I don't know, he just kinda of took it upon himself the last few TIMes we need things added to do it, so I was just delegating. HEHE If you would like to do it, feel free, if I haven't put you off to much by offering it to pcbTIM first. I was not showing favoritism, just it seems to give him so much pleasure and there really are so few things the people on the short bus can accomplish so well that I wanted to make him smile in that silly way he does that is just so endearing. You get the picture. HEHE
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/04/2002 : 12:02:20 AM
Where in the rules is it written that paTRick incorporates things into the unwritten message board rules?
Fluffy Posted - 12/03/2002 : 11:14:01 PM
I agree with LINE on this one!!!

Good idea!! Maybe pcbTIM can incorporate it into our unwritten message board rules somehow.

Hey Fluffy - yeah, no cars lost on this journey. It was definitely great to be back with friends. Needless to say, I can't really crank up the guitar in my apartment, so it especially felt good to turn it up with my drummer friend and a bass player. And that jam left me with a lot of ideas that I'll be recording this month because I finally have some time. For instance, with last month's classes, I could be taking a test at 9 AM, coming back for a lab at 11 PM, and have to be back at school from 9-5 the next day. This month is just 5 PM - 1 AM most days. I should have some interesting music by the end of the month
PJK Posted - 12/02/2002 : 10:21:56 PM
Awe but should quench his thirst just the same.....personally I'd rather have one of these.....ummmm.

Fluffy! You didnt even mention the Flaming Moe, and you had the 20th post! I thought you said, "save them for the holliest of holy moments!" GOD!
Fluffy Posted - 12/02/2002 : 9:49:13 PM
So I will say "NORMAL, by OUR standards."

Dammit, I seem to be out of Flaming Moes thanx to HTG's careless wasting of them. So this will have to do for the TIMe being:

PJK Posted - 12/02/2002 : 8:26:42 PM
and IT FEELS GOOD.....I Knew that it would!!!!!!!!(a little James Brown)

Yeah, Normal is good.......it's all subjective.
Fluffy Posted - 12/02/2002 : 8:23:16 PM
See PJK, holidays over, board returns to NORMAL. Or should I use a different word than NORMAL? HEHE

TN's right, this place can get slow at times, but always expect Fluffy to pull through and reply to dozens, and dozens of topics, giving you new things to talk about. But i'm glad you Pam and DS got home safetly. Now its back to our school/work routine
Fluffy Posted - 12/02/2002 : 02:37:34 AM
Glad you made it safe and sound with no mechanical difficulties to report(I HOPE). Good to have you back and glad you had a great TIMe and the trip was worth it. It is always nice to be back amongst friends.
dirtysloth Posted - 12/02/2002 : 02:27:28 AM
Well... I'm back!!! Phew. 725 miles to Virginia, and then the same trip less than 3 days later. Well worth it though.
Fluffy Posted - 12/02/2002 : 01:42:31 AM
But we have our moments!! HEHE

Hey PJK, I tend to find the board always slows around holidays. I guess people are busy doing stuff with familys and friends, which is great, instead of wasting our TIMe on this insipid, frustrating contraption we call our computer. HEHE
TalkingNeurons Posted - 12/02/2002 : 01:12:48 AM
..It's okay. This board can get a little slow.
