my dad recently bought a digital recorder (a zoom mrs-4). we bought a USB plug-&-play module to take tracks from the recorder to the computer, which leaves us with only one big problem. the tracks that are on the computer are ".aud" files, a file-name extension to which no program on our computer is able to play. can anybody help me out with this? any info would be greatly appreciated, we've had this thing for a couple weeks now and have no way of actually saving songs.

take it easy.

hahah...

Reluctantly crouched at the starting line,
Engines pumping and thumping in time.
The green light flashes, the flags go up.
Churning and burning, they yearn for the cup.
They deftly maneuver and muscle for rank,
Fuel burning fast on an empty tank.
Reckless and wild, they pour through the turns.
Their prowess is potent and secretly stearn.
As they speed through the finish, the flags go down.
The fans get up and they get out of town.
The arena is empty except for one man,
Still driving and striving as fast as he can.
The sun has gone down and the moon has come up,
And long ago somebody left with the cup.
But he's driving and striving and hugging the turns.
And thinking of someone for whom he still burns.

I love cake.

Didn't want to start a new post, but for all of you who are starting or are in bands and wonder if you can get anywhere with your music, take heart, it can happen.

My son saw a group called The Starting Line in someones backyard a year or so ago and last summer they were on the Warped Tour and now he has tickets to see them along with Taking Back Sunday and some other bands at the Trocadaro in Philly and they are the ones headlining! They are a young group from our area.

You have to buy a smart media card reader which plugs into your usb port. Then go to www.zoom.co.jp and download the software manager for the mrs-4 and your all set.

I know nothing about computers, but here is what I found I think might help you.

About aud files:
http://www.nice.com/products/cem/media.html/call.html

http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/8682/aud3.txt

Troubleshooting aud files:
http://www.isl.uiuc.edu/software/vss_tutorial/troubleshooting.html

Transferring aud files to WAV or MIX archives into Zip archives:
http://www.fileplanet.com/files/50000/50587.shtml

This could possibly be a download for a program to play aud files. I don't know alot about computers, but it looks like it answers your questions.
