Posted - 11/27/2002 : 9:09:12 PM Hey VWF, if it is bothering you, you know you can go back and edit your initial post and title to reflect the correct band name. Just thought I would let you know. Click on the edit post button above your post, it looks like a pencil and paper or something like that. |

Posted - 11/27/2002 : 12:12:26 PM I just noticed my error, it's yonder mountain string BAND, not music. my fault sorry. anyway i just bought a live cd(mountain tracks volume 1) and it's just awesome! really good newgrass/bluegrass type of work. they jam really well too, the mandolin player really shreds! anyway, great band, check em out! |

Posted - 11/26/2002 : 9:10:52 PM Yonder Mountain String Band, and you can download some of their stuff from the site as the one in my signature if you look a little. I think there are quite a few shows by them. I might download one tomorrow just to check them out. I did check out Ancient Harmony (another downloadable one) and didn't really dig it. But I'll check out YMSB tomorrow, probably. Been plannin' on it anyway.
But to answer your question, YES, I've heard of them. |
