Posted - 11/12/2002 : 4:11:27 PM I was just at Barns and Nobles and they had a big display of "Simpson"games. Simpson version of: Monopoly, Clue, Chess, and trivia. I don't follow this stuff so I don't know if it's new or if they've been out for a long time. Just thought I'd pass it on. I hate monopoly but the Simpson game pieces are pretty kewl, I might get the Trivia one or Clue for my son for Christmas. |

Posted - 11/17/2002 : 3:24:29 PM Here at my local mall, theres a small arcade. It doesnt always get alot of business but the games usually only cost 50 cents, or two tokens. But up near Atlanta, some games can cost up to a dollar. But pcbdmb, have you played House of the Dead (or the sequal) in the arcade? Fun. |

Posted - 11/15/2002 : 8:53:35 PM Yes! That game was a lot of fun.......but I think all of them are gone and have been replaced with "better" games.
Question: Has anyone gone to an arcade place lately (e.g. mini-golf place)? I went a few months ago and I was amazed at all the changes. Names I have never heard of, and games I didn't recognize.....but the thing that surprised me the most was the price. Everything seemed to cost $1 or more. It's just outrageous. |

Posted - 11/12/2002 : 9:07:20 PM I know which games your talking about. But I really liked this old arcade game that came out about the Simpsons. I forgot its title, but you could pick Homer,Marge,Bart,Lisa, and just go around beating the crap out of bad guys. You could even have team up moves. It was sweet, but I dont think it was too popular. |

Posted - 11/12/2002 : 8:52:08 PM Well........you know corporations. They'll find a profitable markrt and exploit it until something that makes even more money rolls around. I just saw a commercial for a Harry Potter Quiddich video game. My God. Next thing you know, they'll make it into a real sport. |

Posted - 11/12/2002 : 7:41:39 PM Simpsons Stratego would kick ass. And I played that trivia game about a year ago. Some of the questions were very easy, while others were almost impossible. |
