Go see Red Dragon, or Jackass? I haven't got to see the first 2 hannibal movies though.

That's what IT wants you to think.

(in an almost effeminite, non-aggressive, monotone, soothing voice)
"It's all your fault DAVE.
Just turn off you mind, relax and float downstream.
Don't touch that, I wouldn't do that DAVE.
Let me do your thinking for you DAVE."

Just insert (your name)where it says DAVE.

Ah, I love my computer. It doesn't always do what I thought it was going to, but that's generally somehow my fault. I'm very happy that computers are available... I might be lost without one. I probably spend 5 to 7 hours a day (weekdays) on one. Maybe not quite that much. But boring-as-hell days like today... 10 hours.

NEEDED: DUMB ADVICE

enthuTIMsiast, I say keep hitting your computer with a hammer, that ought to fix it.

HMMMMM, now that I think about it, that may not be such DUMB ADVICE. I hate this infernal contraption.
dirtysloth Posted - 12/06/2002 : 4:02:39 PM
Yeah I thought that was too easy. That's all I got.
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/06/2002 : 3:30:18 PM
Tried that and I couldn't get the files to disappear. I'll try it again soon, but not right now. Anyway, I'm not the stupidest person on a computer... That's one of the things I tried already.

Thanks for the help, tho...you have any other suggestions?
dirtysloth Posted - 12/06/2002 : 2:30:11 PM
Right-click->Properties->check hidden ..... if I understand what you're asking
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/06/2002 : 2:25:21 PM
I should point out I suppose that this isn't for something that I want to hide myself. I just want to re-hide something that was hidden so that whoever's it is won't notice any changes to it. Does that makes sense? The way I got to see the files was by clicking what said "show files". But once it does show them, there's nowhere that says "don't show files" or anything...ha it sounds so simple. And, the folder itself says that these folders contain system [something] that don't need to be modified, and if they are, it could be at the cost of my computer, or something like that.

Anyway, help needed...
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 12/06/2002 : 2:22:27 PM
Ok I need some dumb advice too. How do you hide folders on your hard drive? I can't seem to figure out how to do it. If I go and make it where all the hidden folders are viewable, then that's that. And I know I can go and re-hide all the viewed hidden folders. But in any specific folder, how do I hide files?

For the record: I know you don't smoke as you have stated on many occasions, but have you forgotten the TITLE of this thread?

NEEDED: DUMB ADVICE

Can't think of any dumber advice than telling a non-pot smoker to LAY OFF THE WEED!! I think my post fits the topic nicely, and I stand by it.(But not to close, I wouldn't want to catch anything)

Fluffy Posted - 12/05/2002 : 07:19:12 AM
HMMMMM, I am nervous, that was too EZ. No quick retort, no sharp witicism. HMMMMMM should I be worried about you. HEHE

I saw The Ring for the second time this weekend instead of going to see Jackass. I thoroughly enjoyed The Ring...twice.

And I'll wait for Jackass to come out on DVD. I've been forced to sit near enough high school football teams and cheerleading squads talking on cell phones at dumb movies to last me a lifetime. I'd rather get my moneys worth out of a movie....which is why I will wait and spend 2.99 to rent Jackass for 5 days....and I'll be able to watch it in peace.

Damn I love Blockbuster.

I havn't seen Jackass yet, but I want to so bad. I have to buy Dave tickets this weekend, and I'm not gunna have enough money for both. Oh well, Dave is more important.
KevinLesko Posted - 10/25/2002 : 5:11:29 PM
The only reason Im not seeing Jackass this weekend is because 2 of my roomates are gone this weekend, and that is definately one that we all want to make a guys night out of. I have a feeling my sides will hurt from laughing after that one!

By the way, Im sure you've seen our other post on Red Dragon, if not, check it out. We mostly talk about Manhunter and how it is better than Red Dragon.
TalkingNeurons Posted - 10/25/2002 : 5:07:57 PM
I say JACKASS! First any way, you can watch Red Dragon after, but you don't have to see the first 2 to see Red Dragon.
Erich with an h Posted - 10/25/2002 : 10:36:27 AM
anything but Jackass.
enthuTIMsiast Posted - 10/25/2002 : 10:31:34 AM
My vote for you: The Ring. I've heard that it is the scariest movie ever. EVER. Period.
