Posted - 08/26/2001 : 8:23:53 PM I guess as a Tim fan I wish they would have had the camera on him a whole lot more. During The Last Stop, he was going INSANE on the outro, but they just showed Dave bobbing his head. There were a few other times like that too, DAMN! I guess I have to be greatful though for the solos on the FTP, Jimi Thing solo is BAD ASS!

Do you think they're gonna make a DVD of the show to go with the album? I hope so I'd rather watch the band and listen in 5.1 than just hearing it in stereo. Then maybe they'd do multiple camera angles and we could see Tim more often.
Peace Isaac
I'd guess not, unfortunately. If there were going to be a DVD released of that show, it probably would have come out with the CD, like Listener Supported did. So it probably won't be released on DVD.
Of course now that i've given that explanation, it will probably be released sometime soon ;)

Hell yeah! You should see the video, it'll blow you away with the way he plays, and the fact that he's not looking down at the neck half the time.

Posted - 08/27/2001 : 12:50:22 AM Yeah it is a shame that there isn't more camera time for Tim. But the stuff there is, is visually mind blowing. He moves his hand extrememly fucking fast, and It is a mind job!
And about the lack of Tim Time, what do you expect, it is the Dave Matthews Band.
But on the new album, which is of that show, it will just be the discs, so you can still hear Tim at least.
Anything with Tim stuff is worth buying

Posted - 08/26/2001 : 11:37:57 PM Ah yes... but to see him solo on the other songs makes it so worth it! I think he lays down quite possibly THE perfect guitar solo on "Lie In Our Graves." That was the best damn 8 hours of downloading I've ever done! -J
