Yeah, thanks for making sense of that for me. You're the man, Erich.

when people mean lossy, they mean loss from the original WAV, so its definatly lossless. WAVs are what are written onto cds, and SHNs are compressed WAV files. so when someone says lossy, theyre refering to what was lost from the WAV

Jason, I'm 99.9 percent sure that WAV is not lossy(can someone verify this?). I definitely think it would be worth it for you to download at least a few songs, if not complete shows. With a 56k connection, I'd guess(emphasis on guess) that it would probably take around three hours or more to download one of the '99 shows, roughly six for the '98. Keep in mind that's with the MP3's, which are much smaller files than the WAVs. Take all the time you want to download stuff from me. I'm never on my computer from 8-3 weekdays, so knock yourself out(but whenever is fine). I knew there'd be some people with a slow connection, that's why I put MP3s and WAVs up. I'm with Kevin, I'd recommend getting whatever you can from the Key Club show. I'd also recommend getting some stuff from the '98 show. He uses an acoustic on Squirt the Frogs and Breathing Space, both of which have the band behind him. Track 18(can anyone help me out with the name?) is a really awesome jazz tune. Kabbalah is pretty cool, sounds a lot like Yak. Rubber Software is nuts, you gotta hear that. Hope this helped a little.

Peace,
Patrick

Patrick, I'm on dialup at 56k, would it even be worth it to try to dl some stuff? And if so, how long do you think it would take to get one full show? I don't want to bog your system or anything, and can't stay connected all that long, so should I bother?

And is wav lossy? I know shn isn't and mp3 is, but I can't remember about wav.

Thanks for offering, whether I can get any of the shows or not.

That Key Club show has to be my favorite TR3 show! The recording is SO LOUD!!! Get any hard rock fan to listen to that and they will be hooked. Also, some pretty funny stuff said by Tim.
