Posted - 09/30/2001 : 1:48:57 PM I went to play in a park the other day with a band i'm in. We have horns, guitars, drums and bass and we play Oye Como Vas by Carlos Santana twice. One friend of mine and kind of mentor on guitar played with us. He tore up the place with his guitar! But the whole band was amazing! We jammed on that song twice for about 15 minutes each. It was awesome! Just thought I would share that with you guys. Have you guys done something like that similiar?

Posted - 09/30/2001 : 2:17:45 PM Naw, no jams for me yet. But I did do my first "public performance" last night. I went to somewhere public that I thought I would be alone in (it was deserted) and as soon as I started three girls showed up. That's cool, but since I suck it really wasn't. But I played and sang a little. One girl in particular seemed particularly interested so that made me happy, as I'm particularly interested in her too.
But jams are great, maybe someday when I can actually play well I'll be able to do the same.
