Hey people what's up. I have to admit I'm a pretty new fan of Tim Reynolds. I got to see a Dave and Tim show a while ago, and picked up one of his cds, gossip of the neurons. I really liked a lot of the stuff on that CD, and listened to it quite a bit. I, like a lot of people, know of Tim Reynolds because of his playing with Dave Matthews. But unlike alot, I recognize he is his own artist as well. I saw him on Craig Kilborn the other night, and I was blown away. Besides Storytellers with Dave, I had never seen Tim play up close like that. I was near the back at the Dave and Tim show I was at. Anyway it really made me want to check out his site, and meet other fans, etc... What other CD's do you all recommend I get of Tim's? I still only have Gossip of the neurons.

Well, if youve got the time, bandwidth and HD space, you could always get the track lists to NM and Stream, and DL yourself a few songs from the FTP. That way you'd get a feel for what you want to buy.

I would recommend Nomadic Wavelength. But Stream is probably more straight acoustic with less effects. But NM is just better to me, and I'm not into effects either, per se. I like the acoustic stuff much better, and I still like NM better.

Hey, thanks for all the suggestions. I'm looking into getting Sanctuary. I like the idea of a half electric/half acoustic disc. I'm not really into electric music, but who better to get me into it than Tim. Besides Sanctuary, I'm thinking of getting one other CD, something hopefully just with acoustic and no effects, would you recommened Stream or Nomadic Wavelength?

I listen to Nomadic Wavelength almost nonstop. And since my player holds three cds, I have in Stream as well, along with disc two of Sanctuary. So I would recommend those, in that order.

But hey, those are the only three I do have (excluding ID) so maybe that's a little biased. Anyway...

Im glad to see that his appearance late night *did* manage to bring in new fans that are willing to check out his solo stuff.

Hey, welcome to the Tim Reynolds Universe hehe
Glad to see Tim's performance on TV is drawing people towards his solo music more. As far as albums, Stream is a really great one. I'm planning on checking out Nomadic Wavelength myself. I have a couple of Tim's electric albums as well, which I would recommend also.

All of them! But to give you a better answer, download some songs off the ftp and then you can get an idea of what songs you like. Then, get the albums that those songs appear on. I'd highly recommend getting Nomadic Wavelength and Stream, both solo acoustic and my personal favorites.
