I agree Tim Kicked ass tonight. But they gave him no time to really play anything. Pretty much had to squeeze all the things he's known for into roughly 2mins. I think with the short amount of time he was given it didn't show how great he really is and didn't give what he played any time to take you anywhere. Great publicity but i think they made him look more like a guy who can wank for 2 mins rather then an accomplished musician that we see at his shows. I'm gonna email Kilborn and ask him to have him on again but this time give him a bit more time.

The close up of sister was my fave part, short of the music of course. Just so ya know Tim got 3 1/2 minutes originally and during rehearsals they extended it to 3 3/4 minutes so we were quite happy. I was bummed they didn't mention TimReynolds.com They said they would, but as we discussed in the van, it is not hard to find, if you just search the internet a little bit. There are not to many out there. HEHE All in all, we were quite happy with it. I would have like to see Tim interviewed but they didn't ask and Tim really didn't want to speak. A case of, "Let the Music Do the Talking!" And it did! Wait till you see the pics of Tim in the makeup chair. Priceless. They were really happy with our performance and I hope that means it will lead to more appearances and other TV appearances. Craig is alot taller than I expected. Of course we had to rush out after taping to make soundcheck at the ill fated(for me that is) Knitting Factory show. Craig caught us getting into the elevator to say thanx and did something so funny, it was the kind of thing we do to each other and talk about all the time. Just our sick sense of humor on the road. he grabbed the elevator doors as they closed, said Thanx and that he was a big fan wiped his hand on his crotch and extended it to Tim to shake and the man the Tim is reached out and shook it as we all laughed. I think we caught him off guard by accepting. It was pretty funny. Maybe you had to be there and be one of the 3 of us.

Yeah, I agree w/ Erich. I didn't expect any more than what they gave him and that's much better than nothing at all. I'm sure we all would have liked to seen an interview and more playing time, but considering that this is his first tv appearance as a solo artist it still went over really well. BTW, I loved the close-up of "sister".

although i agree that he had about 2 and a half minutes to cram 20 years stage time into, but honestly, thats the best its gonna get for late night TV. And considering what he got, he did pretty well. I didnt expect him to do too much jamming, but he did and it was really cool.
Unfortunatly i doubt he'll get much more time than that on any future late night appearances, so im thankful that he got any at all.
